# Subscribe to Lobby Updates

## Subscribe

Subscribing to Lobby Updates enables Server Sent Events, so you automatically receive the latest information about your lobby.

After you Subscribe to Lobby Updates you can then Get The Lobby SSE Manager and Bind Event to On Lobby Update. If there was a change you will receive it just as if you were [getting-a-lobby](https://duel-studios.gitbook.io/playflow-cloud-for-unreal/lobbies/getting-a-lobby "mention"), automatically.

## Unsubscribe from Lobby Updates

When you are finished in your lobby, you can unsubscribe from Lobby Updates. This will stop polling and this is important to use whenever you know you are finished with your lobby so you do not poll and receive errors continuously.

## Check If Subscribed

This checks if you are already subscribed as you cannot be subscribed to more than one lobby nor more than once to the same lobby.

## Tick SSE Manager

You can Tick the SSE Manager to ensure that we are receiving updates as we are supposed to. We use this node in the Game Instance since the Game Instance is always existing.
